The Lord gave me
foxtail grass in the shining dew,
cows right where they should be (it’s a good day),
a camera-bag full of acorns,
spider’s webs and a tiny mushroom because He loves to over-give,
and then a mouse-pillow because He just couldn’t help himself.
It was like Christmas, this morning. And tomorrow it will happen all over again.
“They shall come and sing aloud on the height of Zion, and they shall be radiant over the goodness of the Lord, over the grain, the wine, and the oil, and over the young of the flock and the herd; their life shall be like a watered garden, and they shall languish no more.” Jeremiah 31:12
Rejoice!
What a beautiful morning walk, Sarah! You inspire me to see beauty in the everyday, ordinary creation right in my front yard. Of course, I could never capture the world like you do through your camera lense! That foxtail grass close-up is breathtaking! Thank you for posting!!!
